Plumbing services in Aubrey, Texas, done in good order.

Twelve kinds of work in four groups, numbered so you can point to the one you need.

Hot water

The work the company is best known for. In North Texas the water heater is often in the attic or up a flight of stairs, which is where care matters most.

Water heater replacement & installation

When a tank starts to leak, it cannot be repaired, and in North Texas it is often sitting above a ceiling. We remove the old heater and install the new one with the pan, drain line, relief line, shut-off and connections it should have, and we protect the floors and stairs on the way in and out.

  • Gas and electric tank water heaters
  • Attic, garage, closet and upstairs installations
  • Drain pan, relief line and shut-off valve
  • Small point-of-use electric heaters

Water heater repair & service

Not every problem means a new heater. Heating elements, thermostats, igniters, relief valves and supply connections can usually be repaired. We tell you plainly which side of the line your heater is on, and what its age and condition say about the money you are about to spend.

  • No hot water, or not enough
  • Leaks at valves and connections
  • Relief valves and expansion tanks
  • Rumbling, popping tanks full of sediment

Tankless water heaters

A tankless heater gives hot water for as long as you need it and frees up the attic or garage. It also asks more of the house: a correctly sized gas line, proper venting, and regular descaling in hard water. We go through what your home needs before you commit to one.

  • Tank-to-tankless conversions
  • Descaling and maintenance
  • Isolation valves for future service
  • Freeze protection advice for outdoor units

Water quality

Hard North Texas water leaves scale in heaters, fixtures and appliances. Treating it at the point where it enters the house protects everything downstream.

Water softeners

A softener removes the calcium and magnesium that leave scale in water heaters, on shower glass and inside appliances. Many newer homes here already have a softener loop in the garage. Where there is none, we plan the connection, the drain and the outdoor faucets that should stay on untreated water.

  • New softener installation
  • Replacement of worn-out units
  • Connection to an existing softener loop
  • Bypass and drain line repairs

Water filtration systems

A softener deals with hardness. A filter deals with taste, odor, chlorine and sediment. We install whole-house filters where the water line enters the home and drinking-water systems under the kitchen sink, and we explain what each one does and does not remove.

  • Whole-house carbon and sediment filters
  • Under-sink drinking water systems
  • Refrigerator and ice maker lines

Drains & sewer

Everything that runs downhill and out of the house, from a slow kitchen sink to a main line that has stopped.

Drain clearing

A drain that is slow again a month after it was cleared has something wrong further down the line. We clear the stoppage, then tell you what we found, so you know whether it was grease, hair, a foreign object or a pipe that needs attention.

  • Kitchen sinks and disposals
  • Tubs, showers and lavatories
  • Laundry and floor drains
  • Stoppages that keep coming back

Sewer main line clearing

When more than one fixture backs up at once, or the shower fills when the washing machine drains, the stoppage is in the main line. We work from the cleanout to open the line, and we tell you if roots, a sag in the pipe or a broken section is the reason it stopped.

  • Main line stoppages and backups
  • Work through the yard cleanout
  • Homes on city sewer or septic
  • Advice on the cause of repeat stoppages

Fixtures, piping & gas

The parts of the plumbing you use every day, and the lines behind the wall that feed them.

Faucets & fixtures

Hard water is rough on moving parts. Cartridges stiffen, aerators clog and shut-off valves seize. We rebuild good faucets, replace worn ones, and fit new shut-off valves and supply lines at the same visit so the job does not have to be done twice.

  • Kitchen and bathroom faucets
  • Shower valves and cartridges
  • Sinks and garbage disposals
  • Outdoor faucets and shut-off valves

Toilet repair & replacement

A running toilet can waste hundreds of gallons a day without making a sound you would notice. We replace worn fill valves, flappers and seals, reset toilets that rock or leak at the floor, and install new toilets when a repair no longer makes sense.

  • Running and leaking toilets
  • Wax seal and flange repairs
  • Weak or incomplete flushes
  • New toilet installation

Leak & water line repair

A stain on a ceiling, a wet cabinet floor, a water bill that jumped. We trace the leak to its source and repair the pipe or fitting, and we check the house pressure while we are there, because high pressure is behind a good many repeat leaks.

  • Leaking pipes and fittings
  • Shut-off valves and supply lines
  • Pressure-reducing valves
  • Freeze-damaged pipe and outdoor faucets

Remodel & addition plumbing

Moving a sink, adding a bathroom or turning a tub into a shower means new supply, drain and vent lines that have to be right before the wall is closed. We do the rough-in and the finish plumbing and work with your contractor’s schedule.

  • Kitchen and bathroom remodels
  • Relocated sinks, tubs and showers
  • Additions and new bathrooms
  • Rough-in and fixture setting

Gas piping

In Texas, gas piping inside a home is plumbing work and must be done under a plumbing license. We install and repair gas lines to water heaters, ranges, dryers, fireplaces and outdoor kitchens, and every line is pressure tested before it goes into service. If you smell gas now, leave the building and call your gas utility or 911 from outside before you call anyone else.

  • Gas lines for new appliances
  • Lines sized for tankless water heaters
  • Shut-off valves and appliance connectors
  • Pressure testing

Before you call

A photo of the label saves a visit.

For a water heater, look for the rating plate on the side of the tank. It gives the brand, the size, gas or electric, and the date it was made. Tell us that, and where in the house the heater sits, and we can usually tell you what to expect before anyone gets in the truck.

Water on the floor, or a gas smell?

Shut it off first.

Burst pipe or leaking water heater: close the main water valve. In most North Texas homes it is in a small covered box in the front yard or flower bed, between the meter and the house; many newer homes also have one in the garage. Then call (940) 510-7033.

Smell gas: leave the building and call your gas utility or 911 from outside. Do not look for the leak or try to fix it yourself.

Call, and it is put right.

Tell us what the plumbing is doing. A licensed Texas master plumber gives you a straight answer and does the work properly, in Aubrey and across northern Denton County.
